Black Equity Alliance is a nonprofit organization that actively supports and strengthens Black communities and underserved neighborhoods in New York City. The mission of Black Equity Alliance is to create coalitions of individuals and organizations that leverage their collective strength to achieve economic equity and civic equity for the betterment of the Black community and all of New York. Black Equity Alliance was founded in 2003 as a federation for the Black community’s human service, faith-based, business and community development organizations.
